With its intricate pattern and deep black coloring, the watch’s dial beautifully expresses the quiet nocturnal scene of white birch forests emerging from the darkness near the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, the manufacturing base for Grand Seiko’s mechanical watches. Inside is the high-beat Caliber 9SA5, a Grand Seiko-exclusive automatic movement. Thanks to its innovative Dual Impulse Escapement and twin barrels, it delivers a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and an impressive power reserve of approximately 80 hours when fully wound. The case and bracelet are made of High-Intensity Titanium, which shines brighter than conventional titanium while offering exceptional scratch and corrosion resistance.
